Today we decided to head over to the Victoria & Albert Museum, which is free of charge to visit and houses over 1.2 Million artifacts. We wandered through the sculptures, jewelry, Japan, and China areas before our still tired feet told us that we had done enough walking for the day. One definitely needs a good pair of shoes for this kind of thing.
Next , we hopped on the Hop-on-Hop-off bus and made our way to a TKM store, which is the same chain as our TJ Max stores. Laureen wanted a new carry-on as her tired roots backpack (which started it's journeys with us in 2004), was beginning to tear at the seams. The places that thing has seen! So, she found a carry-on size hard shell case with wheels and a handle.
We also went to a Whole Foods to grab a salad, some drinks and some things for breakfast the next day before jumping back on the London Transit bus to take us back to our flat. We have a blog (the three day one) and some packing to do for our trip home tomorrow.
Our last dinner out was at a place not far from our flat. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the people walk by. There was some dude on roller skates jumping up on the concrete bench that was in the middle of the square. He was occasionally interrupted by people who would sit down on the bench. Some people are just...well you know.
